The story of Dina Foods

Established in 1992, Dina Foods is one of the UK’s leading artisan producers of specialist Mediterranean foods, which include a range of authentic flatbreads, confectionery and savouries.

Dina Foods combines a heritage steeped in Mediterranean traditions and family recipes, with a strong focus on using only the finest ingredients and a commitment to product innovation. Having grown from a small family-run business, Dina Foods has become a market leader supplying national and international customers.

We are committed to producing the finest quality products. This is the core principle which has guided our business since 1992 and which continues to drive us in our success today.

Dina Foods has bespoke production lines and, combined with our unique recipes, this ensures our products are authentic and flavoursome. Operating from a number of sites in Park Royal, London, our well-equipped manufacturing facilities operate to the highest safety standards and are constantly audited by BRC, IFS and third parties. As such, Dina Foods proudly holds the highest accreditation for food safety including:

1992

Dina Foods Ltd established by the Haddad brothers (Amin, Souheil, Samir and Fadi) and began manufacturing from a factory in Hackney producing a range of Mediterranean flatbreads (which included pitta, khobez and the village line), savoury products and confectionery.

1999

As the business grows Dina Foods moves to a new, larger, state-of-the-art factory in Park Royal in North West London.

2005

Dina Foods pioneers chocolate coated baklawa and introduces it to its premium confectionery range.

2010

Dina Foods launches a new range of date products, drawing on Mediterranean inspiration and innovative recipes.

2012

New oven purchased to expand range of flatbreads which capabilities to create naan, chapatti, methi thepla and pizza bases.

2015

Dina Foods achieves first accreditation

2019

We launch our green pea falafel.
Dina Foods is shortlisted for the West London Business Awards in two categories: High Growth SME of the Year and Park Royal Business of the Year.

2021

Shortlisted in the Bakery Manufacturing Company of the Year category Food Manufacture Excellence Awards 2021

1995

Received First Place award from The British Sandwich Association for New Product of the Year.

2004

More expansion for Dina Foods as we open a new factory site for our confectionery production.

2008

Dina Foods achieves first IFS accreditation

2011

Dina Snack Pack Baklawa achieves “Highly Commended” by the Q Quality Food Awards and was placed runner-up in the Chocolate and Confectionery section.

2013

Dina Foods launches the first Paninette® flatbread to the market.
We won a gold award for our confectionery product under an own-label brand in Europe.

2018

Filo Delights® launched in October 2018.

2020

We launched the Tasty Goodness® Range
Shortlisted - Speciality Bread Product of the Year 2020

1993

2008

Dina Foods achieves first IFS accreditation.

 


2010

Dina Foods launches a new range of date products, drawing on Mediterranean inspiration and innovative recipes.

 


2011
